Facebook Login (OAuth) requirements

Facebook Login and Meta developer apps require a privacy policy URL in your app settings. Reviewers check that the link describes data collected through Login, permissions requested, and third-party sharing. Keep the URL stable while you update policy text when adding permissions or analytics pixels.

What Facebook Login (OAuth) checks before listing

• •Meta Platform Terms, section 4: you must provide, maintain and comply with a privacy policy available at an active, publicly available, easily accessible (including to Meta's crawlers) and non-geoblocked URL.
• •The same URL must be entered in the privacy policy field of your App Dashboard settings (Settings → Basic → Privacy Policy URL).
• •The policy must clearly explain what data you process, how, for what purposes, and how users can request deletion of that data; deletion must be available to every user who can access the app.
• •You may process Platform Data only as your privacy policy describes, and the policy may not conflict with the Platform Terms.
• •In App Dashboard Basic Settings the Terms of Service URL is required to switch the app to Live mode, and the User Data Deletion URL can point to the deletion section of your privacy policy.
